Master Certified Sales and Business – Overcoming Objections

5–8 minutes

I am DeAnna, I am a master certified, trauma informed, positivity practitioner coach specializing in sales and business. I have a coaching business where I train salespeople and network marketers how to do sales and grow their business.

I have helped my clients break through barriers that come with sales/network marketing, reach the top of their companies, and become financially stable. Some are pushing to the top, just getting started or somewhere in between.

Have you ever felt frozen when someone give you an objection when you are pitching to them?

Did you take objections personal? That is a human response. Just remember this…..their objections have nothing to do with you. It’s not about you, it’s about them. When you look at their objections like that, arrows pointing out not pointing in, you can better overcome their objections

The first objection to overcome, you are a salesperson, it doesn’t matter what product or service you are selling, you are a salesperson. So many times I have heard “I don’t want to come across salesy, if you don’t want to be salesy get better at sales. If  want someone to buy your service or your business you have to sell it to them and the better you are at sales and overcoming objections the less salesy you “come across”. Think about this, you were sold to, you bought something, or you would not be here. In your mind was that person salesy towards you? Probably not, then why are you letting yourself believe you are salesy?

Their objection will likely come down to ONE. One objection. Asking the right questions will narrow it down.

Some of the most sales objections for product or service

Your price is too high or I can’t afford that – DO NOT LET YOURSELF BELIEVE THIS. This is NOT true, what is true, their priorities aren’t in the right place. You’ll never hear a prospect complain that the price is too low, but you can bet your last dollar that nine out of ten will always complain that the price is too high.

Your response – You’re right. It’s very expensive, but it’s also the best. That’s actually why I went with SAID COMPANY. To put product on a shelf like Walmart or Target, they have to make sacrifices in quality to be at the price point there Walmart, Target… want them to be, because they have to pay for THEIR marketing and advertising as a requirement to go on their shelf. Therefore adding a middleman and so not to increase the cost it lowers the quailty.

What I love about these products, you are going to get a really high-quality product, without that middleman. We are under tremendous scrutiny by the FTC, we have to jump through extra hoops more than Walmart or Target. We have to have a higher standard to produce a better product that is safe and effective for people and that works!

What makes MLM’s so great, there is no paid for advertising it is me and you and word of mouth, so we can put that into the quality of the products.  I’m just so grateful what it’s done for my health and for my family.

Objection #2: I need to speak with my husband/wife/spouse before I can make a decision.

Your Response: Having to make a decision on your own can be a bit intimidating especially when considering a new product. Wouldn’t you agree?

Let me ask you a question, if you are at the grocery store and you need to purchase (A probiotic or multi vitamin a magnesium, etc..) would you just purchase it or would you call your husband and speak to him first? Then stop talking and let that sit. Most likely they are going to tell you NO, ask what is the difference? If they tell you the price is too high go back to the first one objection. Which was probably their actual objection to begin with and using the excuse “I need to speak to my husband”

Objection #3: I want to talk to my doctor first

Your Response: I actually went through this myself when I was first looking into these products. What I discovered Is that doctors are great however they don’t have any training on supplementation. It’s not their fault. It’s literally not part of their medical degree. Because they don’t have training in it, they cannot give you confident advice, so they will tell you to avoid doing it altogether.

Pharmacists on the other hand are highly trained in supplements because they must know what needs to be spaced away from certain medications and what interacts with your current prescriptions.

I respect doctors the training they have had in the medical world, I would encourage you speak to your pharmacist and ask them if there’s anything in these products that would interfere with what you are already taking. It will give you the peace of mind to get started from a professional that actually knows about the amazing ingredients in our products.

Objection #4 – your products are not FDA approved.

Your response – You are absolutely right! No vitamins or supplements that you buy on the shelf are FDA approved. Do you have kids or know someone who does? – I do. Did you or someone you know feed baby formula? – I did. Did you know that baby formula is not FDA approved either? But what I find crazy, cigarettes are FDA approved, along with many other items that are so bad.

A couple of objections on the business side.

Do you think extraverts make better sales people or do you think introverts make better sales people.

Objection #1 – I am an introvert
Your response – Actually, introverts are better salespeople because they are better listeners. You just have better listening skills than an extraverts does. Just the way the brain is wired. (you also just paid them a compliment)

Objection #2 – I am not a salesperson

Your response – Good! That just means I don’t have to break any of your bad habits. The awesome thing about this is you’re sharing other people stories along your own story so you don’t have to do anything other than be your authentic self which actually makes you better at sales then you would think. If you could make money being your own authentic self, how much would you want to make every month?

Objection #3 – I don’t have time

Your response – believe me, I completely understand. That is actually the number one reason I started sharing about this business.

I didn’t have time to spend with my family like I wanted to. I didn’t have time to enjoy me and do extra for me. I didn’t have time to meet a friend for lunch and not have to hurry back to work.  If you had extra time in your life, what would you do with it? (The reason I told her about my time was to get her thinking, she needs that time too. (If you know specifically what is taking her time, say something relating to that). Ask her, if I showed you how spending a few hours a week could get you the extra time you are looking for would you be open to listening?
